16 -- COMMUNICATIONS UPGRADE KITS FOR THE ES-3A SOL N00019-95-G-0208 DUE 053196 POC Contact, Stacy Bostjanick, Phone (703)604-2000 The government intends to place an order under an existing contract to provide for the final 9 production kits for the Communications Improvement Program (CIP). This includes production and installation of the kits into ES-3A aircraft and update of technical information. As the designer, developer and sole manufacturer of the ES-3A aircraft and the developer for the first stage of this program, Lockheed Martin Aeronautical Systems is the only source that possesses the necessary technical expertise, engineering drawings and data with which to perform the total system integration effort. The Naval Air System Command intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with Lockheed Martin Aeronautical Systems, 86 South Cobb Drive, Marrietta, GA.
