NDI/COTS SUPPORTABILITY SYMPOSIUM Contact Point: Jim DeCamp 360-315-7475. The Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division Keyport is sponsoring a NDI/COTS Supportability Symposium, 10 through 12 September 1996 in support of acquisition reform. The symposium will assist in highlighting all aspects of acquisition and life cycle support to the military application of Non-Developmental Items (NDI) and Commercial-Off-The-Shelf (COTS) hardware. It will consist of expert discussion panels, technical paper presentations, related exhibits, and well known Department of Defense (DOD) speakers, including RADM Shipway and Boeing Corporation Space and Defense Vice-President. Participation of all Military Services, Industry, Academia, DOD Agencies, and Government is encouraged. The symposium will be hosted by NAVUNSEAWARCENDIV Keyport at the NAVUNSEAWARCENDIV Museum, in Keyport, WA. Keyport is located 10 miles west of Seattle, surrounded by the evergreen forests, pristine waters, and snowcapped mountains of the Olympic Peninsula in the heart of the beautiful Pacific Northwest. Abstracts of Technical Papers are welcome, as is registration for the free exhibitor spaces. All aspects of the symposium will be unclassified.
