The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, Training Academy is seeking a contractor to provide lodging accommodations for two training sessions for the following dates; August 11, 1996 through August 16, 1996 (48 participants) and August 19, 1996 through August 23, 1996 (24 participants). These dates are firm. Facility must be: in compliance with the uniform Federal Accessibility Standards; Government inspection of the facility; in the Washington, DC metropolitan area; no more than 15 minutes metro rail ride to/from the Headquarters Building; no more than a 1-2 block walking distance from a metro rail station due to concerns for personal safety and convenience for handicapped employees; and/or no more than a 5-10 minute ride via regularly scheduled shuttle service (scheduled at least every 30 minutes) to/from the nearest metro rail ride to/from the Headquarters building. The shuttle service must be capable of accommodating all HUD employees lodging at the facility at the same time. This procurement is estimated between $25,000.00 and $50,000.00.
