Kennison Contractor shall furnish all labor, tools, equipment, supervision, and materials and perform work for the construction of a Parking Deck as required by plans and specifications for Project 523-024, Ambulatory Care Addition-Parking Deck at the VA Medical Center/Outpatient Clinics, 150 South Huntington Avenue, Boston Massachusetts 02130. The work shall include general construction, alterations, roads, walks, grading, drainage, mechanical, electrical, utilities and elevators. This is a firm fixed price contract and estimated cost range is between $2,000,000 and $5,000,000. Contract award is subject to Availability of Funds. A 90 day bid acceptance period is applicable to this solicitation. Request for bid documents must be in writing to the Contracting Officer (90C) and NO telephone or facsimile requests will be honored. The contractor shall be required to commence work ten days after the Notice to Proceed and complete the work within 180 calendar days of that notice. A pre bid conference will be scheduled and information will be provided in the SOL documents. Bid documents will be issued on a first come, first serve basis until supply is exhausted. Copies are available in various plan rooms. Performance and Payment bonds are required for this project. SIC 1542 applies to this solicitation and all responsible bidders are encouraged to submit an offer. Bidders, if a large business concern, shall submit a subcontracting plan in accordance with FAR 52.219 Small Business and Small Disadvantaged Business Subcontracting Plan.
