Z -- PROVIDE AND INSTALL COURTROOM SOUND REINFORCEMENT SYSTEMS, IN THE NEW RENO FEDERAL BUILDING AND COURTHOUSE, RENO, NEVADA SOL OXHSFDX-96-R-011 DUE 062596 POC Carol Smith (202) 273-1468 Furnish all necessary labor, equipment, materials, and expertise necessary to provide, install and test a complete and operational sound reinforcement system in six courtrooms, one jury assembly room, one grand jury room, and one conference room located in the new Reno Federal Building and Courthouse, Reno, Nevada. The work includes but is not limited to supply/ fabrication/testing and adjustment of audio equipment, preparation of an operations and maintenance manual, user training, warranty maintenance, and the repair and refinishing of all surfacesdamaged during the installation of the system components and cabling. The contractor shall be able to respond on-site within 24 hours of a service call during warranty period and temporarily provide equivalent replacement equipment when immediate on-site repairs cannot be made. At least two routine inspection and adjustment visits will be scheduled for the first year. The contractor shall have calibrated test equipment of sufficient quality to permit repair and adjustment of system components to original manufacture specifications. Award will be made to the responsible offeror submitting the lowest-priced technically acceptable proposal in accordance with the evaluation criteria set forth under Section M, Evaluation Factors. This is a request for proposals, the contract will be firm-fixed price. Estimated cost range is between $100,000 and $250,000. Payment and performance bonds are required. Offers will be solicited for the proposed contract on an unrestricted basis as to business size. The solicitation documents will be issued on or about May 29, 1996.
