Jefferies, Contracting Officer, (615)454-7841 This procurement is for the replacement of four 4-inch existing direct buried fuel transfer lines with three new 4-inch JP4 fuel transfer lines at Arnold Engineering Development Center (Arnold Air Force Base), Tennessee. Major items of work include demolition of all old piping, supports, and concrete, including demolition of an existing valve station; asbestos and lead abatement; construction of a concrete vault, and installation of three new lines (each line approximately 3,070 feet) with tie-ins and supports. The new piping system shall be constructed of seamless carbon steel, ASTM A53 Grade B or A106 Grade B, Schedule 40. The new piping shall have a service rating of 150 psig at 100 degrees F. Piping installation shall conform to ANSI B31.3. The estimated order of magnitude for this project is between $1M and $5M. The performance period shall be 145 calendar days following receipt of a Notice to Proceed. Any responsible firm may submit a bid which will be considered. Foreign participation is authorized.
