Provide service, labor, equipment and materials to modify the Lewis Research Center's (LeRC) North Central Chilled Water System, Building 9. Work includes, but is not limited to, replacing existing Chiller #1 and associated piping, replacing two existing distribution pumps and drive motors, instrumentation, and system automation through an existing Landis & Gyr Powers Energy Management Control System (EMCS). The project also includes the following options: 1) EMCS Control for Chiller #3, 2) Fine Particle Filter, 3) Integral VFD By-Pass, 4) Energy Savings Monitor, 5) Flow Meter, 6) Extended Warranty for new chiller. This project has been designed with the International System of Units (SI), otherwise known as metric units. Estimated period of performance is 19 months.
