The Naval Medical Logistics Command has sole source requirement for twenty MDT surgical ceiling lights, model 2410S. The Navy intends to negotiate with MDT Castle, Rochester, NY. Surgical light unit must be a single head light suitable for shipboard use where ceiling heights are low. Surgical ceiling light unit shall have passed ``High Impact Shock Testing'' per MIL-STD-901C for Class II Grade A, type A. Surgical ceiling light unit shall consist of a tripod, suspension tube, yoke assembly, and light head with sterilizeable handle. Surgical ceiling light unit shall have a minimum distance of 16 inches from the ceiling to the face of the lamphead. Surgical ceiling light unit shall be 150 watts, powered by 120VAC, 50/60 Hz, and shall meet UL Code 544. Delivery shall be to Pascagoula MS. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals.
