THIS ANOUNCEMENT CONSTITUTES THE ONLY SOLICITATION; BIDS ARE BEING REQUESTED AND A WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. Solicitation CSI-737,040-01 is issued as an Invitation for Bids (IFB). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC 90-32), dated October 1, 1995. Provide a unit price and extended amount for the following item: Steel, plate, hot rolled, manufactured per ASTM A6/A6M. Certificate of Chemical Analysis in accordance with AISI 1040 steel to be furnished with shipment. Steel plate is to be used to make large diameters cylinders (pontoon and shore pipes). Dimensions: Thickness: 1/2 inches, Width: 90 inches, Length: 192 inches. Quantity: 175 each. TOTAL CUBIC MEASUREMENTS: /-----/ CUBIC FEET. Failure to furnish the total cubic measurements may render your bid nonresponsive. DELIVERY TERMS shall be as follows: F.O.B. This is an average freight factor which includes the cost of inland freight and insurance in Panama.
