The United States Department of Interior, Bureau of Land Management has a requirement for the establishment and operation of an adoption holding facility in the central part of the Eastern States jurisdiction. This will be open to the specific states of Tennessee, Kentucky, Illinois, Indiana, Missouri, Arkansas, Alabama, and Mississippi. Operation includes haltering, loading, unloading, watering, feeding, maintaining, adopting and resting wild horses and burros supplied by the Bureau of Land Management under the ''Adopt-A-Horse and Burro'' program.
