Federer, Contracting Officer at (404)842-6789 The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) contemplates award of a 36 month contract, to accomplish a case-control study of lung cancer in workers exposed to internal and external ionizing radiation and to physical and chemical agents at Department of Energy (DOE) facilities, taking into account potential confounding risk factors (e.g., smoking, other occupational exposures), to the extent feasible. DOE on-site contractors will not be eligible to compete for award of this contract. Requests for copies of the solicitation will be honored if received within 15 days of the RFP issue date, which will be on or about June 24, 1996. Requests received after that date will be filled on a first-come-first-served basis until the supply is exhausted. The date specified for receipt of proposals will be approximately 60 days after the RFP issue date. Requests for the RFP must cite the RFP Number: 200-96-2522(P).
