Federer, Contracting Officer at (404)842-6789 The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) contemplates award of a 30 month contract, which would provide for (a) the collection, preparation, packaging, shipping and storing of plasma samples for use in evaluating the performance of laboratories that perform human immunodeficiency virus type 1 (HIV-1) antibody testing and laboratories that perform human T-lymphotropic virus types I and II (HTLV-I/II) antibody testing, and (b) collection, preparation, packaging, and shipping of whole blood specimens for use in evaluating the performance of laboratories that perform T-lymphocyte immunophenotyping (TLI) by flow cytometry or alternate technologies. Requests for copies of the solicitation will be honored if received within 15 days of the RFP issue date, which will be on or about June 17, 1996. Requests received after that date will be filled on a first-come-first-served basis until the supply is exhausted.
