The Government proposes to solicit a sole source purchase order with the PAT-KRUEGER Corporation, Inc., 980 Industrial Court, Rockford, IL, 61111, to provide and install for the Navy three (3) replacement load moment indicators (LMI) for Navy owned weight handling equipment. The LMI's to be provided shall replace units currently mounted on Link-Belt model HC218 cranes. The Link-Belt Construction Equipment Company has identified the PAT-KRUEGER Corporation PAT DS 350 system as the OEM compatible replacement system. This purchase action is for supplies, and services for which the Government intends to solicit a quote from only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or to submit proposals. Any response or proposal submitted must include written confirmation that their system is approved by Link-Belt Construction Equipment Company for the purpose intended. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within ten days after the date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
