The Contractor shall supply all labor, materials, tools, equipment and supervision in the installation of an emergency power system for elevators. The Contractor's facilities shall be located within a 100 mile radius from the Army Research Laboratory, Adelphi, Maryland. The Contractor must be able to document that his/her company has been established and active in the replacement, supervision, testing and installation of emergency generators and the associated equipment as per the specification/scope of work, for a minimum of 6 years. The period of performance is expected to be 180 days from date of award. The proposed contract is being considered for 100% set aside for small business concerns. Interested firms should, as early as possible, but not later than 15 days of this notice, indicate interest by providing to the Contracting Officer above evidence of capability to perform and a positive statement of eligibility as a small business concern. If adequate interst is not received from small busines concerns, the solicitation will be issued as unrestricted without further notice. Therefore, replies to this notice are requested from all business concerns. All responsible sources may submit a bid or proposal which will be considered by the Agency.
