Engineering and Technical Services to provide a broad spectrum of specific high technology expertise in support of on-going programs and technology insertion efforts in support of NISE East Charleston's Advanced Technology Laboratory. Contractor to provide engineering and technical support services for engineering, integration and procurement of a wide variety of highly advanced commercial satellite communication systems, mobile radio systems, transportation systems and naval systems engineering. Support includes the hardware, software and systems engineering of COTS-based communications, rapid deployment of equipment to the field, operation of contractor overseas facilities, logistics management and support of field sites and operational support to the Advanced Technology Laboratory. This lab will provide an environment for commercial vendors to demonstrate and test their new technologies in conjunction with existing military equipment. Contractor to establish a facility in Charleston, SC, Washington, DC and Eastern Europe. This is a 100% Set-Aside for Small Business Concerns. Contract to be a Cost-Plus-Fixed-Fee Indefinite Quantity Type with a One-Year base period and two one year options. Term and Completion Type Orders will be issued against the basic contract.
