The University of California, operating contractor for DOE at the Los Alamos National Laboratory, intends to recompete its requirements subcontract for reemployment counseling services for employees affected by an involuntary reduction in force (RIF). Only one subcontract award, on an unrestricted basis, is planned. The subcontract will cover a one-year period with options for up to two additional years. Under the anticipated subcontract, the selected subcontractor will be required to provide RIF notification training sessions for Laboratory managers and conduct reemployment counseling sessions for RIF employees.
