This facility intends to lease two small buses with 8 and 14 passenger capacities from Hoekstra Truck Equipment, 260 36th Stre. SE, Grand Rapids, Michigan, 49506. Interested parties willing to enter into a lease agreement may submit technical proposals which address all of the following specifications: Dual rear wheels, diesal engine, automatic transmission, front & rear heating and air conditioning, LT225/75R 16 ply tires, Tilt steering with cruise control, heavy duty service package, 130 amp alternator, heavy duty auxiliary battery, two and six wheelchair forward facing positions, seat belts, hydraulic wheelchair lift, four point wheelchair restraints with patient restraint, back-up alarm, first aid kit, fire extinguisher, safety triangles, roof vents, AM/FM radio, and handicap identification decal. Proposed vehicles shall conform to Americans with Disabilities Act Accessibility Guidelines for Transporation Vehicles as set forth in the Technical Assistane Manual, for Buses, Vans, & Systems, published by the United States Architectual & Transportation Barriers Compliance Board (ATBCB). THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PRICING PROPOSALS. Technical proposals received prior to 4:30 p.m., local time, June 14, 1996, will be considered by the government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed lease agreement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government.
