(703)604-2119 The Naval Air Systems Command intends to negotiate with
Rockwell-Collins, Collins Avionics and Communications Division, Cedar
Rapids, Iowa for the Control Display Navigational Unit (CDNU). The
Government requires that all CDNU units be interoperable and
interchangeable with existing CDNUs. Rockwell Collins, Collins Avionics
and COmmunications Division is the only company who can meet the unique
technical government requirements. The Navy plans to procure an
approximate total of 2000 units for various aircraft platforms through
fiscal year 1999. Additionally, the following will be acquired:
technical data; quality assurance; integrated logistics support (ILS);
system safety, reliability and maintainability; configuration
management; technical manuals; spare and repair parts; support
equipment; calibration measurement requirement summary; contractor
engineering and/or technical services and product line support. See
