Moody (619)552-8585 X2872 The VA Medical Center - San Diego, CA has a requirement to acquire an encasement system for application of asbestos containing materials. The encasement materials will be used to cover all asbestos contained fireproofing applied to the structural steel columns, beams, and trusses throughout the Medical Center's interstitial areas as well as overspray of fireproofing onto concrete slabs. Estimated square footage of asbestos containing material in the interstitial to be encased is approximately 176,400SF. The prospective contractor will be responsible for supplying materials only. The VA Medical Center will furnish all labor required to install the encasement materials. All solicitation requests shall be submitted in writing or faxed to (619)552-7483.
