The Library of Congress requires the acquisition of a turnkey facility of commercially available, state-of-the-art audio and video system equipment, cabling, mounting hardware and installation/interconnection. The installation and interconnection shall be in the Library's Coolidge Auditorium, Whittal Pavilion and Recording Laboratory located in the Thomas Jefferson Building, Washington, DC. The principal purpose of this facility is to present, record, and/or broadcast video and audio of the live musical, theatrical, spoken word, and projected performances in the prestigious Coolidge Auditorium. The auditorium will resume operation Fall '97. Functional and technical specifications have been developed. (0152)
