The Federal Bureau of Prisons, South Central Regional Office, Dallas, Texas, is soliciting and intends to make a multiple award to eligible hospitals and/or other qualified medical entities, which are also established firms, within a fifty (50) mile radius of the Texarkana, Texas, area. The successful contractor(s) shall provide all necessary inpatient and outpatient medical specialty services at their location and/or at the Federal Correctional Institution, which consists of the Federal Prison Camp, located in Texarkana, Texas, to all Federal inmates who are housed, either temporarily or permanently, at this institution. The outpatient institution services (sub-specialty) will include, but not be limited to: Nephrology; Radiation Therapy; General Surgery; Thoracic Surgery; Oral Surgery; Neurosurgery; Psychiatry; Cardiology; Orthopedics; Dermatology; Urology; and Infectious Disease services. The resulting contract will be a firm fixed price, indefinite delivery, indefinite qauntity type contract with a base year from date of award through twelve months with the possibility of four (4), one (1) year option periods for renewal.
