This directorate intends to issue Invitation for Bid (IFB) F29650-96-B0017 on or about 30 Jun 96. Responses will be due approximately thirty (30) days thereafter. The Government intends to procure this project under full and open (unrestricted) competition, however, the Government reserves the right to consider this acquisition for the 8(a) program or small business based on responses to this synopsis. The magnitude of this project is between $250,000.00 and $500,000.00 for a basic and two one-year option periods. Contractors bidding as the prime contractor must have a primary Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) Code of 0782 with a size standard of $3.5M. The work includes removal and/or trimming of various trees, disposal of cut trees and debris, repair of damaged lawns and landscaping, and some replacement of trees. Please note that funds for issuing delivery orders are not presently available, however, they have been requested. This IFB is based upon your understanding that (1) funds are not available and (2) if funds do not become available no obligation will be incurred by the Government because of this IFB.
