Work consists of furnishing all plant, labor, materials, equipment, supplies and supervision necessary for the alteration/repair of Visiting Officers Quarters, Bldg. 362, at Charleston AFB, SC. The work includes, but is not limited to the following major items of work. Modifications to existing parking lot, addition of outdoor picnic area and gazebo, installation of water supply line from existing water main for sprinkler system to be installed and installation of new front and rear entrance canopies. Site work, landscaping, and patching of asphalt parking lot. Asbestos and lead abatement. Remove and replace floor framing and subflooring. Construct new guest rooms and toilet rooms. Remove and replace doors, frames, hardware. Remove and replace interior and exterior walls stairways. Create two story lobby. Remove exterior concrete block walls and replace with wood stud framing. Replace windows. Install new automatic entrance doors and install brick veneer/synthetic stucco system. Remove and replace attic hatch. Install new mechanical ductwork. Remove existing roofing and install new metal standing seam roofing. Remove existing gutters, downspouts, soffits, and fascia and replace with new aluminum gutter, downspouts and splashblocks. Replace all plumbing. Install sprinkler system and fire alarm system. Remove air handler system and replace with new system. Provide chiller. Install EMCS controls.
