Furnish and install an automatic planted area and turf irrigation system in accordance with the Statement of Work and drawings. All work is to be completed within 60 calendar days following receipt of the Notice to Proceed. Magnitude of project is between $25,000 and $100,000. Only one site visit is scheduled for July 2, 1996. This procurement is set-aside for Emerging Small Business (ESB) concerns. The standard industrial classification (SIC) code is 1629 and the annual size standard is $17.0 million. To qualify as an ESB, a small business concern's size must be no greater than 50 percent of the numerical size standard applicable to the SIC code assigned. This is a Request for Quotation (RFQ). Offerors are required to submit a quotation based on price and other factors for evaluation by the Government. Other factors to be evaluated are 1) qualifications, 2) past performance in installation of irrigation systems, and 3) knowledge of current irrigation technologies. A firm-fixed-price purchase order will be awarded to the responsible offeror who submits the quotation considered most advantageous to the Government considering price and other factors. All responsible sources may submit an offer which will be considered by the agency. The solicitation is scheduled to be issued on or about June 24, 1996.
