Cooper, Contracting Officer, (304) 285-4160 Modifications to the freight elevator for the Hot Gas Desulfurization Process Development Unit (HGDPDU) at the Morgantown Energy Technology Center (METC) Contractor shall perform all modifications necessary to change the existing floor stops to match the floor levels of the HGDPDU currently under construction at METC. Contract type will be fixed-price construction with a performance period of 120 days. Estimated price range is $25,000 to $100,000. Request for proposal No. DE-RP21-96MC33132 will be issued approximately 15 days after publication in the CBD; receipt of proposals is scheduled for approximately 30 days after issuance of solicitation. There will be a preproposal conference to discuss details of the job, allow access to the elevator, and review the normal flow of activities at the facility.
