PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE - The project covered by this statement consists of furnishing all plant, supplies, equipment, materials, transportation and labor for the installation of fire alarms systems and additions to an existing radio operated system. Approximately 17 buildings require entire alarm systems, approximately 3 require installation of Government furnished transceivers and an estimated 8 buildings require emergency exit lighting. All work to be performed at Barnes Air National Guard Base, Westfield, Massachusetts. Performance period is for one- hundred-twenty (120) days after receipt of the Notice To Proceed. Estimated magnitude of construction is between $250,000.00 and $500,000.00. Interested parties qualified to perform work under Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) 1731 (Electrical Work) should notify this office, in writing, of their interest to bid the project as the prime contractor as early as possible but no later than June 15, 1996.
