(Site Code DAAD07) This solicitation sets forth the requirement for Archaeological Services to include the location, identification, and recording of archaeological and historical resources; monitoring to prevent damage to these resources; archaeological investigations, studies, or recovery (to include mitigation of adverse effects); actions to protect and preserve sites and data (to include curatorial services); ethnological services; and preparing and presenting educational materials and programs. Location of work will be within White Sands Missile Range (WSMR), New Mexico, boundaries, within New Mexico and Texas, or in other potential military use areas within 100 miles of WSMR's boundaries. The work area also includes sites in the western United States, such as but not limited to, Green River, Utah Launch Complex, and the Idaho Launch Complex where WSMR support is required. The solicitation will be issued on an unrestricted basis. The anticipated type of contract is fixed price requirements. The period of performance is for a one year base period with three one year options to extend. It is anticipated that subject Request for Proposal will be issued on or about 19 Jun 96 with an estimated closing date of 19 Jul 96.
