L -- TECHNICAL AND ENGINEERING SUPPORT FOR THE AN/BSY-2(V) SUBMARINE COMBAT SYSTEM SOL N00024-95-R-6536 POC Chris Pigott, Negotiator, (703) 602-7703. The Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) awarded a sole source contract to Lockheed Martin, Ocean, Radar and Sensor Systems Division, P.O. Box 4840, Syracuse, NY on 29 December 1995 for system engineering support for the AN/BSY-2(V) Submarine Combat System and Consolidated Shore Facility. This contract is for 6 months of efforts including field engineering, test and installation support, logistics coordination, engineering change kit development, technical data support, and testing, repair, and operation of the Consolidated Shore Facility unique to the AN/BSY-2(V) production systems. NAVSEA intends to modify this contract so it will consist of a base year and four one year options for a total of approximately 1,300,000 hours. This synopsis modifies the synopsis published on 25 January 1995 for the same contract. The original synopsis stated the total number of hours in the contract would be 747,000 hours.
