Elements of work include furnishing supervision, equipment, materials, labor and transportation required to remove and replace tubocharger on one Electromotive V-20 Diesel, perform technical inspection as necessary to determine all repairs required to restore the diesel engine to proper working order. Upon completion of turbocharger replacement and examination the contractor shall provide a written cost estimate with the following information: number of labor hours required to restore the EMD V-20 to proper operating conditions, (labor hours shall include basic hourly rate, fringe benefits, payroll burden, travel expenses, overhead and profit, and all other cost not incorporated into the finished work); equipment costs, and material costs. Tentative issue date of solicitation is 17 Jun 1996 with a bid opening date of 29 Aug 1995. Only written requests for plans and specifications will be honored.
