survey, potential sources sought notice to identify lead/toxic free
small caliber primers in 5.56mm, 7.62mm, 9mm and caliber .50. Primers
should meet the following requirements: 1) All primer components must
be free of lead and other toxic materials as defined by the EPA; 2)
Meet sensitivity requirements of: Hbar+5S=13 inches (required), 12
inches (desired); Hbar-2=2 inches (required), 3 inches (desired) when
conditioned at the ambient temperature of 68F+2F; 3) Primers must also
function at the following temperatures: +125F to -25F (required),
+125F to -40F +5F (desired). All responsible sources may submit their
capabilities. Include your company name, address, telephone number,
technical POC, whether a large or small business (size standard is 1000
employees), description and technical specification of candidate
item(s), brochures/literature of companies' capabilities and the unit
price, if available. Interested sources should provide their
information within 30 days from date of this notice. This is only a
Market Survey and there is no solicitation for this action. A
solicitation notice will be published only if a requirement becomes
