26 -- TIRES SOL BC-019. POC Barry Nielsen/BC/801-777-9993. Potential sources of supply are being sought for the F-16 Nose Landing Gear Tire, Size 18 X 5.7-8/18 Ply, NSN 2620-01-157-3821. We are seeking potential sources who are willing to pre-qualify and complete in a Life Cycle Cost analysis. The tire will be assigned an index number related to the number of average landings achieved. The tire will then be competed on a cost-per-landing basis. Interested companies may identify their interest and present their capabilities to the requirement and submit a written proposal of interest. Interested parties will be required to build the tire using the OEM specification and meet the parameters of a new performance specification. Each participant will be given the freedom to manufacture the tires using current technology, design techniques, etc. The predominant material will be natural rubber. This is not an Invitation for Bids (IFB) or Request for Proposals (RFP), we are only seeking companies who have the necessary capabilities and are interested in becoming approved potential source of supply. All costs involved in qualifying will be at your expense.
