The government intends to procure the following requirement: PCM Bit synchronizer, Decom Part # 7715-00000 (or equal), QTY: 9. The synchronizers are to be standard 19'' rack-mountable, the depth is not to exceed 24'' and the height is not to exceed 5.5''. Each bit synchronizer must be fully IRIG class I and II compliant. Zero and 90 degree clock outputs are required. The synchronizers are to have the following options: capable of processing data rates 15 Mbps, all inputs and outputs should be BNC type connectors, have NRZL and BIOL as outputs also, and have RNRZL outputs. The procedure to be used in awarding this contract is written request for quotation IAW Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The anticipated award date is 10 Jun 96.
