William Bolyard, Contracting Officer (304) 285-4171 The U.S. Department of Energy's (DOE) Morgantown Energy Technology Center announces the availability of Program Research and Development Announcement (PRDA) No. DE-RA21-96MC33203 entitled ''Advanced Gas Storage Concepts'' on or about 06/24/96. The primary objective of this PRDA is to identify research and development proposals for innovative natural gas storage concepts that will fully demonstrate the commercialization potential to meet the projected needs of the Natural Gas Industry and the end-use markets of the U.S. through the year 2010. The objectives of the R & D effort will be to develop conceptual designs, demonstrate their feasibility, and provide cost analyses. The Government reserves the right to make multiple awards arising from this solicitation, and to award the procurement instrument deemed most favorable to overall programmatic success. Multiple awards are anticipated ranging in value between $50K and $200K. Only written requests for the PRDA will be honored. Written requests for the PRDA should reference the PRDA title and number and should specify a point of contact at the requestors location.
