805-982-9152 The Naval Facilities Engineering Command Contracting
Office and the Naval Facilities Engineering Service Center (NFESC, Port
Hueneme, CA have a requirement to acquire environmental engineering
services to support the Systems Commands (SYSCOMs) and the Naval
Operating Forces with environmental services in the following areas:
environmental planning and documentation, pollution prevention (P2)
planning and engineering, and environmental compliance. In addition,
NFESC is providing occupational safety and health (OSH) support
services. The level of environmental, safety, and health (ESH) support
provided by NFESC is projected to grow dramatically in the near
future. The contractor shall assist NFESC in providing ESH services to
the SYSCOMs, their associated acquisition Program Managers (PMs), and
their shore activities, including but not limited to the Naval Air
Systems Command (NAVAIR), the Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA), the
Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command (SPAWAR), and the Naval Supply
Systems Command (NAVSUP). Services are to be provided for all Naval
Operating Forces, their shore activities, and their Forces Afloat,
including but not limited to Commander in Chief, U.S. Pacific Fleet
(CINCPACFLT), Commander in Chief, U.S. Atlantic Fleet (CINCLANTFLT),
and Commander in Chief, U.S. Naval Forces Europe (CINCUSNAVEUR).
Services will also be provided to Headquarters, Marine Corps, and
Marine Corps bases worldwide. This requirement is for a base year plus
four one- year options. An Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity
Contract with Time and Materials pricing arrangement is anticipated.
The minimum obligated amount in the base year will be $250,000.00. The
solicitation will be issued on or about 17 Jun 96 and proposals will
be due 45 days after release of the solicitation. Only written requests
