R-Architect/Engineer Services, Indefinite Quantity Civil/Structure A &
E Contract at the Naval Air Station Brunswick, Maine. Projects may
include but are not limited to the following: Civil and structural
projects including roads roofs, sitework and structural repairs.
Project No. 1 - The A/E shall investigate the site and prepare contract
documents to repair portions of Avenue A and B, 2nd, 3rd, and 5th
Streets. The project scope shall include provision for demolition of
existing roads and appurtenances, new pavement surfacing, gravel base,
underground utilities as required, curbing, landscaping, signage,
striping and related work. The design may address reclaimation of
existing bituminous material, and improvements to geometry and grade to
the roadways. Subject to necessary changes, the total annual A/E Fee
that may be paid under this contract will not exceed $200,000 in base
year and $200,000 in option year. Selection criteria: (1) Specialized
Experience of the firm in the type of work required; (2) Professional
capacity of the firm to accomplish the contmplated work within the
required time limits, (3) Professional qualifications of staff to be
assigned to this project. (4) Past experience, if any, of the firm with
respect to performance on Department of Defense Contracts, (5) Cost
control effectiveness, (6) Location of the firm in the general
geograpphical area of the project. b. A/E Firms which meet the
requirements described in this annoucement are invited to submit
completed standard forms 254 unless already on file and 255, U.S.
Government Architect-Engineer Qualifications, to the Resident Officer
in Charge of Construction, Naval Air Station, 200 Alpha Avenue,
Brunswick, Maine 04011. Firms responding to this annoucement with the
submittal of SF 255 by 9 July 1996 will be considered. Respondents may
supplement this proposal with graphic material and photographs which
best demonstrate design capabilities of the team proposed for the
