The Health Reseources and Services Administration is soliciting proposals to provided technical assistance (TA) to grantees, planning councils and sortia funded under the CARE Act in order to improve the performance of the Title I and II CARE Act programs. The purpose of the TA is to assist those entites in complying with the requirements of the CARE Act, to improve the capacity, outcome and cost effectiveness of health care and support services funded under these programs; to improve access to HIV-related care for historically underserved populations; and to enhance their coordidnation and linkage with other local, State, and Federally supported HIV-related services. This requirement will be for one (1) base year and two option years. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the Agency. Solicitation will be issued on or about June 19, 1996. Closing date will be on or about July 19, 1996. All request for the solicitation must be in writing and cite RFP HRSA 240-BHRD-8(6). (0156)
