DESCRIPTION OF WORK--The work includes recycling of construction debris, constructing a maintenance hangar for KC-130 aircraft, a line maintenance shelter, a utilities control building, KC-130 apron, facilities site work and airfield lighting, in-frame power check pad, wash rack pavement, facilities fixed aircraft start system, providing and installing hazardous materials storage and waste lockers, telecommunications and data transmission systems and incidental related work complete and ready for use.--The estimated cost is over $10,000,000.--Firm Fixed Price Contract.--Contract duration is approximately 550 calendar days.--Bids will be considered from all responsible sources.--This project is unrestricted. The Standard Industrial Code is 1541 and the annual size standard is $17 million.--It is recommended the subcontracting plan goals reflect a minimum goal of 7% for Small Disadvantaged Business subcontracting effort.--NOTE: Plans and specs will not be mailed to firms within a 20 mile radius of the issuing office.
