Z -- JOB ORDER CONTRACT IN SUPPORT OF FORT LEWIS, ITS SUBINSTALLATIONS, 96TH AND 124TH RESERVE SUPPORT UNITS IN WA, OR, ID AND MT SOL DACA67-96-R-0040 DUE 081296 POC Contract Specialist Grant J Furulie (206) 764-6713 (Site Code DACA67) Multidisciplinary, Maintenance, Repair and minor construction work, ranging from $2,000 to $300,000 per delivery order at Fort Lewis, its subinstallations and 96th and 124th Reserve Support Centers in Washington, Oregon, Idaho and Montana. The projects will involve the following types of work: HVAC, electrical, carpentry, masonry, glazing, painting, plumbing, roofing, welding, steamfitting, bricklaying, sheet metal, soft flooring, plastering, asbestos removal work, insulation work, ceiling systems, doors, concrete, paving and related site work, excavation, cabinet construction/installation, and miscellaneous construction. Contract is for a base year and four option years. Plans and specification will be made available on or about 27 June 96 at no charge per set. Specifications and price guide will be provided on a set of 3.50 disks. No individual sheets are available. NOTE TO SUPPLIERS/SUBCONTRACTORS: This action will result in the award of an Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity type contract. Actual work requirements will be fulfilled through the award of Delivery Orders subsequently identified. Since this action does not represent specific work requirements, copies of this solicitation will not be available to other than those firms contemplating competing as prime contractors. A copy of the planholders list will be provided upon receipt of a written request. Documents will be issued on a first come first served basis until supply is exhausted. No phone requests accepted. Requests must be in writing and must be received before bid documents will be mailed. Solicitations may be picked up from the Plans Room Monday through Friday between the hours of 7:30 A.M. and 3:30 P.M. Submit requests by 18 June 96. Estimated dollar value for the life of the contract is between $50 million and $100 million. Standard Industrial Classification Code is 1542, small business size standard is $17 million.
