The work consists of maintaining and or repairing the exterior siding of Building 302 using insulated materials for energy conservation purposes. Replace existing single pane windows with energy efficient windows, and install insulation in ceiling areas. The work include other exterior cosmetic repairs to the building including the repair of a loading ramp and loading dock. Repairs will extend to doors, door jambs, installation of weather stripping, and paint the exterior surfaces. Existing wooden stairs will need to be replaced. Plumbing and electrical work will be required to bring the building up to code. This solicitation is unrestricted and will be issued on or about 8 July 1996. The estimated construction cost will be between $100,000.00 and $250,000.00. The construction period will be ninety (90) calendar days.
