Valovcin, Phone (703)604-0757 The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) intends to award a contract modification to Sierra Nevada Corporation (SNC), 444 Solomon Circle, Sparks, Nevada 89434, for the correction of deficiencies in the Common Automatic Recovery System Prototype #2 (CARS-P2) unit, the successful completion of acceptance testing on this unit and the upgrade of the CARS-P2 system to the latest CARS baseline configuration. SNC is the sole designer, developer and manufacturer of the CARS-P2 system and as such is the only known source which possesses the requisite knowledge and skills necessary to provide the supplies and services described herein.
