Thisrequirement will be solicited on a sole-source basis from Texas Instruments, ASIC StrategicMarketing, Semiconductor Group, P.O. Box 60448, MS 3028, Midland, TX 79711-0448 due toTI's proprietary production processes as well as the duplicative costs that would accrue to theGovernment and the time that would be necessary to fully evaluate another manufacturer'sproduct for system compatibility.
