Operation of the Manufacturing Technology Information Analysis Center (MTIAC), DLA900-90-D-0134. The Defense Electronics Supply Center (DESC) intends to negotiate on a sole source basis, with IIT Research Institute, the award of a modification to contract DLA900-90-D-0134 to continue the Operation of the MTIAC. The contemplated period of performance is one month (July 16, 1996 to August 15, 1996), with a one month option. If the option period is exercised, the period of performance contemplated is August 16, 1996 to September 15, 1996. Contract effort will include, but not be limited to: Collection, review, analysis, appraisal and summary of the available scientific and technical information and data on the material within the scope of the MTIAC's competence and concern. DESC believes that IIT Research Institute is presently the only source with the capabilities to meet all of the Government's minimum requirements for this effort.
