repairing roofs on buildings 4, 6, 7, & 14 and repair for siding on
buildings 7, 24, & 26 in Port Clinton, Ohio. Installation of Standing
Seam Metal Roofing and insulation over existing roofing systems. Work
involves installing new roofs over the existing base's vehicle
maintenance and structural shops, the main gym/classroom and the
equipment/pavement shop. The work will consist of general, structural
and site demolition to include metal roofing. New construction consists
of insulation, roof systems and associated site work. Installation of
insulated exterior siding over existing siding systems. Work involves
installing new siding over the base's the main gym/classroom and dorms.

insulation, exterior siding and associated site work.
Architect-Engineer selection shall be based upon the following criteria
which is listed in relative order of importance: (1) Professional
qualifications necessary for satisfactory performance of required
services; namely architectural, structural and civil engineering. (2)
Specialized experience and technical competence in the type of work is
required. (3) Capacity to accomplish the work in an accelerated design
schedule. (4) Past performance on contracts with government agencies
and private industry in terms of cost control, quality of work, and
compliance with performance schedules. (5) Location in the general
geographic area of the project and knowledge of the locality of the
project. (6) Demonstration success in prescribing the use of recovered
materials and achieving waste reduction and energy efficiency in
facility design. (7) The volume of work previously awarded the firm by
the Department of Defense. (8) The small business, small disadvantaged
business, historically black college and university, or minority
institution in the performance of the contract, whether as a joint
venture, teaming arrangement or subcontractor shall also be considered.
Total estimated construction for this project is between $500,000 and
$1,000,000. Firms responding to this announcement should submit a
current SF254, Architect-Engineer and Related Services Questionnaire
and current SF255, Architect-Engineer and Related Services
Questionnaire for Specific Projects, including specific information
requested above, to the Contracting Officer. Submit SF254 for each
subconsultant or joint venture firm. All responsible firms responding
to this announcement with all required information before the response
date will be considered for the selection. This is not a Request for
