Description of content: Specifies the method of determining the energy efficiency factor of refrigerators and freezers for household use. Provides a uniform and repeatable procedure at specified conditions and at an ambient temperature of 30 degrees C. Methods described in this standard are intended to establish a means by which different models and brands of refrigerators and freezers can be compared and evaluated with respect to characteristics which are significant in the design and use of the products. 7.
