National Institutes of Health intends to exercise the 4th option period
under contract number 263-93-D-0201 awarded to Becton Dickinson
Immunocytometry Systems to provide preventive maintenance and repair of
the following systems for the period 10/01/96 through 9/30/97: FACScan,
FACSort, FACSTAR, FACS 440, FACS Vantage, FACSTAR PLUS, Analyser and
FACSmate. The contractor shall furnish all necessary expertise, trained
personnel, special tools, diagnostic equipment, facilities, parts,
telephone technical support, materials and supplies necessary to
provide for full service maintenance. Full service maintenance shall
consist of emergency on-site repair as well as preventive maintenance
including engineering documentation, field engineering upgrades and
software revisions. It is the Government's belief that these
requirements can only be met by Becton Dickinson Immunocytometry
Systems, 110 Forbes Blvd., Mansfield, MA 02048-1145. Concerns that
respond to this notice must furnish concise responses directed
specifically to the requirements mentioned above. Respondents deemed
fully qualified will be considered in any resultant solicitation. Firms
responding should indicate whether they are a socially or economically
disadvantage business firm, an 8(a) firm, a small business, and/or
woman-owned business. Closing date for submission of responses is 45
