The Internal Revenue Service intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with Power Systems and Controls, 3206 Lanvale Avenue, Richmond, Virginia, 23230. The acquisition is for maintenance service for two 500kva Uninterruptible Power Systems for a base year and four one-year options. The Government intends to contract for maintenance with the contractor that installed the systems which knows the unique alterations that were made to make the systems functional. This is a notice of proposed contract action and not a request for competitive proposals; however, all responsible sources may submit a written capability statement within 45 days of the date of this notice of the date of this notice which will be considered by the IRS. At a minimum, capability statements must include a complete listing of all offered items with pricing, detailed specifications to address each of the Government's minimum requirements, and any other technical evaluation of the offer.
