The work includes removal of existing 750kcmil cable and replacement of 15kV underground cable circuits, replacement of portions of circuits and switches, connectors and miscellaneous hardware associated with circuit risers, addition of sectionalizing switchgear equipment and incidental related work. Additional sections of underground ductbanks and cables shall be installed, existing manholes and ductbank systems shall be renovated and/or replaced and 15kV primary switches on existing transformer load center (TLC's) shall be replaced. Provide portable generation units as required to maintain existing facilities in service. During performance of this work, asbestos, hazardous waste, or pollution abatement may be encountered. Plans and specifications will be available on or about 26 June 1996 at no charge until supply is exhausted. Contract completion time is 600 calendar days.
