16 -- SKIPPER BACK-FIT MXU-737A/B AIR FOIL GROUP CONVERSION KITS SOL N00164-96-R-0107 DUE 072596 POC Contact, Terry Davis, Code 1164EE, 812/854-3704, Contracting Officer, Doug McDaniel The Navy requires 50 each prototype Skipper Back-Fit Conversion Kits to convert the MXU-737A/B Air FoilGroups into MXU-667 Air Foil Groups. These Conversion Kits will be procured on a sole-source basis fromTexas Instruments, Inc., Lewisville, TX in accordance with FAR 6.302-1, since Texas Instruments possessesproprietary information which is required to manufacture the conversion kits. Note 22 applies. Theprocedures at FAR Part 12 will not be utilized. This is anticipated to be a Firm-Fixed Price supply typecontract. Delivery will be required F.O.B. Crane within 60 days after contract award, with final inspectionand acceptance at destination. (0158)
