Moore (410) 671-2227 (Site Code DAAM01) The U.S. Army Chemical and Biological Defense Command (CBDCOM) intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with the National Academy of Sciences for the continued support of the Standing Committee on the Program and Technical Review of the U.S. Army CBDCOM for a five year period. The Board on Army Science and Technology of the National Academy of Sciences will examine technical programs and systems issues crucial to CBDCOM's operational mission in order to assess and address the challenges which will shape the future role and direction of CBDCOM. The areas of investigation will be in the following disciplines: chemistry and biochemistry; medicine; environmental science; electronics and sensors; individual protection; toxicology; military science; human factors; simulation and modeling; chemical engineering; artificial intelligence and robotics; biotechnology; research management; and research and development management.
