PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE - The project involves the post-closure monitoring, maintenance, and spot repair of a landfill cap comprising approximately 66 acres. Work on this project will entail the following: All structures at the facility including fences, signs, gate locks, monitoring well structures, etc., must be maintained. The site must be monitored for any settlement or erosion that may occur, and subsequent repairs must be made. Air at all vents and probes will be screened periodically. At the ten highest screening locations, gas flow rates will be measured and samples will be analyzed for VOC,s. Site monitoring reports documenting the information collected will be required periodically. No groundwater sampling will be required for this project. This project is located on the Massachusetts Military Reservation (MMR) Cape Cod, Massachusetts. A firm fixed price contract is contemplated with a base year and four one year options at an estimated cost between $100,000.00 and $500,000.00.The Standard Industrial Classification Code (SIC) is 8734.
